Hildiah Martin-Suggs has been educating, mentoring, advocating, providing services for youth for over twenty years in the Early Childhood Learning Field, as an individual Leader; and during the youth adolescence. Also, Hildiah Martin-Suggs obtained Certifications in the State of Wisconsin to become a Center Director, a Teacher, School-Age Teacher, a School-Age Director, a Licensed Family Child Care Owner or a Certified Family Child Care Owner.
June 2019, Hildiah Martin-Suggs created a second chance program called the Youth Mitigation Program for youth 13 to 17 years old facing life sentences as adults. January 8, 2020, Hildiah Martin-Suggs made history for being the first Youth Mitigation Investigator to specialize in a District Attorney's Office; mitigating SB440, SB441 cases between prosecuting attorneys and defense attorneys for State Judges to give youth 13 to 17 years old or older facing life sentences as an adult an opportunity for a second chance.
Hildiah Martin-Suggs historical moment aired on WSBTV Channel 2 News. Ms. Hildiah Martin-Suggs launched the Organization Almost Lost In The System Inc July 5, 2021; which derived from her own experiences with the Criminal Justice System, Prison System, School System, Behavioral Health, Youth Development and Legislation.
Hildiah Martin-Suggs feels there is not enough Organizations or Advocates that are advocating for youth boys and the young men.
Therefore, Almost Lost In The System Incorporated is a gateway for youth boys and young men to succeed in every aspect in life and begin to live productive lives.
Hildiah Martin-Suggs has been in the Criminal Justice and Civil Rights fields for over seven years as a fearless Leader.
Hildiah Martin-Suggs areas of expertise consists of: Investigations, Administration, Crime Prevention, Team Leadership, Youth Reform, Criminal Justice Reform, Facility Placement, Education, Constitutional Rights, Criminal Laws, Mentorship, Youth Advocacy, Community Advocacy, Mitigating, Strategic Communications, Court Process, Court Proceedings and Court Procedures.
Hildiah Martin-Suggs completed 70 credit hours at the National investigative Training Academy for Private Investigators and became a Licensed Private Detective May 2019. Hildiah Martin-Suggs became affiliated with the Georgia Association for Professional Private Investigators (GAPPI).
Hildiah Martin-Suggs has worked with the Department of Juvenile Justice Rockdale Regional Youth Detention Center as a Volunteer since 2016. In addition, Hildiah is a Member of the Department of Juvenile Justice Advisory Council Committee. Therefore, Hildiah Martin-Suggs assists the Department of Juvenile Justice Regional Officials with implementing Forums, Positive Behavior Interventions Support (PBIS); and mobilizing for the youth incarcerated.
Hildiah Martin-Suggs is a mentor, a Youth Advocate, a Civil Rights Leader and a Community Advocate. Formerly, Hildiah Martin-Suggs was Georgia’s NAACP Criminal Justice Chair for the entire State from November 2019 until June 2022. Hildiah Martin-Suggs was an active member on the Georgia NAACP State Conference Executive Committee who assisted with obtaining Justice for Ahmaud Arbery case and many other cases. Hildiah Martin-Suggs received an Award from the Georgia NAACP State Conference for her hard work, dedication in the Criminal Justice Field; and for writing the NAACP Criminal Justice Agenda.
Hildiah's work ethics have changed many people's lives in the communities. Hildiah Martin-Suggs trained, obtained Certificates with the Prosecuting Attorneys Council Of Georgia, Gwinnett County Police Academy, Georgia Association for Professional Private Investigators; and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. June 21, 2021, Hildiah Martin-Suggs received the Joe Biden White House Presidential Gold Award for her commitment to strengthen our nation; and communities in Criminal Justice through her volunteer services. Currently, Hildiah Martin-Suggs is furthering her continued training with the Georgia Association for Professional Private Investigators(GAPPI). Currently, Hildiah Martin-Suggs is a Member of the ForbesBLK.

We provide services, resources through our programming, community partnerships to obtain fair and equal opportunities.
Everyone deserves a professional to thoroughly review, investigate their cases who are deserving of a second chance. We want to prevent youth from being lost in the system through our programming, advocacy, partnerships for the communities and the incarcerated.Almost Lost In The System Inc do not want families to worry about becoming homeless, losing a job, or utility cut offs just to pay Attorneys for their loved one to have a second chance to live productive lives. Almost Lost In The System Inc do not want any families to endure what the Founder, Hildiah Martin-Suggs endured at the time she was fighting for her son to have a second chance to live a productive life beginning at the age of 14 years old.
January 8, 2020, Founder Ms. Hildiah Martin-Suggs made History for being the first Mitigation Investigator to ever work in a District Attorney's Office with Gwinnett County. Ms. Hildiah Martin-Suggs created the youth Mitigation Program for youth facing life sentences for SB440 and SB441 Cases.
