Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs has been educating, mentoring, advocating and providing services for people in the communities for over twenty-five years. Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs received the Joe Biden White House Presidential Gold Award; and a Lifetime Achievement Award for her commitment to strengthen our nation in Criminal Justice through her volunteer services. Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs continued furthering her education and training with the Georgia Association for Professional Private Investigators(GAPPI). Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs is an Associate Member of the Georgia Association of the Professional Private Investigators and a Member of the ForbesBLK. Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs received her Honorary Doctorate of Philosophy in Humane Letters(Honoris Causa) from Eden Royal Christian University on December 14, 2024.
January 8, 2025, Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs received the highest Award, "Outstanding Georgia Citizen Award;" that a Citizen may receive from the State of Georgia. Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs has been afforded every courtesy as a Goodwill Ambassador from the State of Georgia in her travels to other States, to Nations beyond the borders of the United States of America, or wherever she may hereafter travel or reside; which was signed by the State of Georgia Secretary Brad Raffensperger on January 8, 2025. Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs was honored with a Resolution for her historical accolades, community advocacy and work ethics to be celebrated for her own day in the State of Georgia signed by Georgia Senator Tonya P. Anderson District 43. Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs programming, work ethics, success stories; and so much more is being discussed in over 250 News Media Outlets, Magazines, Newspapers, other Websites and Journals.
Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs obtained Certifications in the State of Wisconsin to become a Center Director, a Teacher, School-Age Teacher, a School-Age Director, a Licensed Family Child Care Owner or a Certified Family Child Care Owner. June 2019, Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs created a second chance program called the Youth Mitigation Program for youth 13 to 17 years old facing life sentences as adults. January 8, 2020, Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs made history for being the first Youth Mitigation Investigator to specialize in a District Attorney's Office; mitigating SB440, SB441 cases between prosecuting attorneys and defense attorneys for State Judges to give youth 13 to 17 years old or older facing life sentences as an adult an opportunity for a second chance. Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs historical moment aired on WSBTV Channel 2 News. Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs launched the Organization Almost Lost In The System Inc July 5, 2021; which derived from her own experiences with the Criminal Justice System, Prison System, School System, Behavioral Health, and Youth Development. Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs feels there are not enough Organizations or Advocates that are advocating for youth boys and the young men.
Almost Lost In The System Incorporated is a gateway for youth boys and young men to succeed in every aspect in life and begin to live productive lives. Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs has been in the Criminal Justice and Civil Rights fields for over nine years as a fearless Leader. Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs is a mentor, a Youth Advocate, a Male Advocate, a Civil Rights Leader and a Community Advocate. Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs completed the National investigative Training Academy for Private Investigators and became a Licensed Private Detective May 2019. Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs became affiliated with the Georgia Association for Professional Private Investigators (GAPPI). Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs has worked with the Department of Juvenile Justice Rockdale Regional Youth Detention Center as a Volunteer from 2016 to 2023 and donated over thousands of items for the youth incarcerated. Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs was a Member of the Department of Juvenile Justice Rockdale RYDC Advisory Council Committee. Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs assisted the Department of Juvenile Justice Regional Officials with implementing Forums, Positive Behavior Interventions Support (PBIS); and mobilizing for the youth incarcerated.
Formerly, Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs was Georgia’s NAACP Criminal Justice Chair for the entire State from November 2019 until June 2022. Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs was an active member on the Georgia NAACP State Conference Executive Committee who assisted with obtaining Justice for Ahmaud Arbery case and many other cases. Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs received an Award from the Georgia NAACP State Conference for her hard work, dedication in the Criminal Justice Field; and for writing the NAACP Criminal Justice Agenda. Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs trained, obtained Certificates with the Prosecuting Attorneys Council Of Georgia, Gwinnett County Police Academy, Georgia Association for Professional Private Investigators; and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Dr. Hildiah's work ethics have changed many people's lives throughout the United States. Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs will continue to be a fearless Leader, provide services, fight for equal justice, civil rights and humanity.

Is to advocate for families who are less fortunate to receive the proper services, representation, moral support and resources to afford a second chance to live a productive life. No matter the Race, Sex, Culture, Religion or Orientation. We provide through our programming, community partnerships to obtain fair and equal opportunities.
Everyone deserves a professional to thoroughly review, investigate their cases who are deserving of a second chance. We want to prevent youth from being lost in the system through our programming, advocacy, partnerships for the communities and the incarcerated.Almost Lost In The System Inc do not want families to worry about becoming homeless, losing a job, or utility cut offs just to pay Attorneys for their loved one to have a second chance to live productive lives. Almost Lost In The System Inc do not want any families to endure what the Founder, Hildiah Martin-Suggs endured at the time she was fighting for her son to have a second chance to live a productive life beginning at the age of 14 years old.
January 8, 2020, Founder Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs made History for being the first Mitigation Investigator to ever work in a District Attorney's Office in Gwinnett County. Dr. Hildiah Martin-Suggs created the youth Mitigation Program for youth facing life sentences for SB440 and SB441 Cases.
